UrgentCare NW - Gresham
Anthony Friendy is a 1991 graduate of the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. and M.S. in Biology. He graduated from the Physician’s Assistant Program at King’s College, Pennsylvania in 1996 with a B.S. in P.A. studies. Anthony has been a member of the Army National Guard in Pennsylvania and Oregon since 1997. He completed a Tour in Iraq from June 2005-June 2006. His experience has been in Family Practice, Emergency Room Trauma and Urgent Care. He was a Professor at Seton Hall University in their Physician’s Assistant Program from 2002-2004. Anthony’s interests include bicycling, snowshoeing, hiking, running and camping.
Mark Hosko came to the Northwest in 1986. His training was in the mid-west; he graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985 and completed his residency in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Hosko is Board Certified in Urgent Care Medicine and is a co-founder of UrgentCare NW. He is an avid hiker, backpacker and mountaineer. Dr. Hosko’s passion of the outdoors is expressed in his wildlife paintings which have been displayed in regional galleries.
Dr. Hosko's passion for hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, gave him the opportunity to combine his talents as an Urgent Care Physician with his knowledge of some of the most challenging terrain in the gorge. Keith Klatt is a 1987 graduate from the university of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Klatt is Board Certified in Urgent Care Medicine and is co-founder of UrgentCare NW. He is also active in pharmaceutical research. Outside activities include bicycling, hiking, golf, gardening and playing with his two children.
Aaron Liere graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1999. He received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Oregon State University. Outside the clinic, Aaron’s interests include golf, hiking, camping and home brewing.
Marc Morishige graduated from Pacific University in 1989 as a Physical Therapist. He is a native Oregonian from Ontario, Oregon. Marc has been with the clinic since its creation in 1996. Marc has a background in a variety of settings that include pre-employment screen (creating and administering), ergonomic assessments, long term resident care, physical capacity evaluations, post surgical rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, and orthopedic/sports/motor vehicle injuries. Marc is also a certified trainer and enjoys competing in the sport of power-lifting and has won two world championships in the open division.
DOUGLAS RENOUARD, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Portland, earned his Medical Degree from OHSU and performed his residency training at Boston University. Dr. Renouard was the Chief Medical Resident and Associate Professional of Medicine at the Veterans Hospital in Boston. He was a Partner in the Hillsboro Internal Medicine Clinic as well as the Broadway Medical Clinic. His interests include biking, running, soccer, triathalons, fishing, travel and most things that involve good beer (including homebrewing).
CHRISTOPHER THOMING is from Portland Oregon. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and his medical degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University. Currently he works as a clinical research scientist at the Westover Heights Clinic in Portland and serves as Associate Director of Ambulatory Care with Legacy Health Systems, performing clinical and managerial duties at four hospital emergency departments. He is a founding partner and director of Northwest Acute Care Specialists, a 130 member emergency services physician group. In addition, Dr. Thoming serves on the boards of the University Club of Portland and the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation. He also serves on the board of New Avenues for Youth, a social services agency in Portland serving homeless youth. He and his wife Vanessa have three children.
Charlie Wong is a native of Portland, Oregon. He graduated Reed College and earned his medical degree from the University of Oregon Health Sciences in 1980. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine, but has practiced Urgent Care for some 24 years. He was the Clinical Director of the Spokane Indian Reservation’s Clinic in the early 80’s. He has been associated with UrgentCare NW – Gresham, since its inception. He has a variety of interest, a few which include photography, reading, hiking, travel and the arts.
